Laurence Booth appointed Trust Payments Group CEO
Trust Payments, the disruptive leader in fintech specialising in frictionless commerce, have announced that the Trust Board has appointed Laurence Booth (pictured) as Trust Group Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.
Booth, who has been interim CEO since September 2024, will continue as a member of the Trust Payments Board. Booth has been with Trust since 2021, initially as Chief Data Officer and more recently as Chief Information Officer. His career spans over 20 years in payments and financial services, the majority of that time at American Express in card issuing, merchant acquiring and payment network roles.
Booth’s appointment has been made following a robust and competitive evaluation process carried out by the board with support from international search advisers.
